Our team is always looking for talented individuals looking to build their design skills.
What Do We Do?
We design, build, and race an electric vehicle that runs entirely on solar power. We use the latest technology to design an efficient electric vehicle and promote renewable energy.
Where Do You Fit In?
The easiest way for new members to meet the team is to attend the general and sub-team meetings. In light of the potential restrictions to physical meetings, virtual meetings and socials may be held instead. Typically, when new members join, they work with an older member to develop the skills they need and to work on projects.

What Sets Us Apart?
Our project is on a much grander scale than many other teams and involves close cooperation in the design and implementation of the mechanical and electrical systems. The vehicle we build needs to be built to strict regulations to ensure driver safety, as our competition involves nearly 2,000 miles of driving on US roadways. Both the construction of our car and our competition are very intense.
We have a track race in September we will be preparing for when we return to campus. New members will help complete the finishing touches on the current car and assist with vehicle testing and preparation. Additionally, if you are interested and invested in the team, you may be selected for the race crew and attend the competition.
