Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Solar House Design Team empowers the next generation of leaders to build a sustainable future. This is accomplished by developing a sustainable, innovative, and original design for the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. Each new home improves the University, community, and environment through focused research, public education, and sustainable design.

What Do We Do?
Promote knowledge and interdisciplinary cooperation for technological advancement of solar energy, green-living, sustainability. Our goal is that each of our past projects encourages the research progress and success of future entries.
Where Do You Fit In?
People who are interested in being creative and innovative in the name of a cleaner and more energy-efficient future will find a place on our team. We recruit and are open to any major, provided that they’re interested in collaborative design projects, and are willing to explore and create in-depth designs.
