Steel Bridge competes with other schools in a national competition to design and fabricate a 1/10th scale steel bridge.

Our team is always looking for talented individuals looking to build their design skills.
Where Do You Fit In?
We look for Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering majors, but anyone who is interested can still enjoy the team.
Get to know us by going to our first general meeting for icebreakers and again later for our Popsicle Bridge competition. General meetings are weekly starting on the first Wednesday of classes in 315 BCH at 8 pm.
What Will You Gain?
Join Steel Bridge for professional experience. You can learn AutoCAD, learn to work on design software Risa3D, learn how to weld, and work as a team.

What Sets Us Apart?
Everyone can participate in every aspect of designing and building the bridge. We usually place high enough in our regional competition to move on to the national competition. Team members build close relationships and we have socials, like Bridgegiving, a float trip, bbq's, and have had an intramural sports team.
