How to Join the SDELC
For Current S&T Students
Welcome to the Missouri S&T Student Design and Experiential Learning Center (SDELC)! This page will walk you through how to join the Student Design Center and a Missouri S&T Student Design Team. To begin the walkthrough, login to the SDELC Member Portal by clicking on the button to the right. Use you UM System credentials to access the portal then come back to this window for the rest of the walkthrough.
This is your SDELC Member Portal Homepage. You will be able to see the trainings you have completed (yellow box) and your past/current team memberships (blue box). YOURS WILL NOT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THIS but will be similar. Hover over Student Sign Up and click “Sign Up” (red circle).
Please read over the information for student membership sign-up and follow the instructions carefully. Enter a primary phone number and alternate email address (NOT your S&T email) (blue box). Then select your desired team and Continue (red circle).
From this point on, you will have to sign a Risk & Release Form and a Photography/Videography Release form. Please read and understand these documents carefully. They are meant to protect both you and the design center. If you have any questions or issues with the forms, please contact the Design Center M-F 8 AM - 5 PM at (573) 341-7546. After you have completed the signup process, you will automatically be added to the respective team’s engage page. This is extremely important as this is how teams send out mass-emails. Please contact a team representative if you are not added to their engage page.
