NSDT designs and builds nuclear-based systems with the goal of competing in the ANS student design competition. Our current project is a machine that will detect radiation in urban environments.

We recruit all majors! The team is a smaller group, so you will get to know a lot of new friends while working on the team.
We are seeking people in electronics and manufacturing, in addition to nuclear engineering students.
What Will You Gain?
We are exploring problems and projects that are relevant to the issues the nuclear industry is facing. Joining will give you a great look into the real-world problems that your formal education will not.
